FAQs.

What is Moniepoint?

Moniepoint Inc. is an all-in-one financial services platform for Africans. In simple terms, if you need to pay for anything in Nigeria, odds are you'll pay at a Moniepoint terminal, to a Moniepoint business account, from a Moniepoint personal account. Pretty sweet, right?

Since 2019, Moniepoint’s technology has helped over 20 million businesses and individuals access seamless payments, banking, credit, cross-border, and business management tools.

We are currently Nigeria’s largest merchant acquirer for point-of-sale (POS) transactions. And through our subsidiaries, we process over $250 billion in annual digital payment transaction value. Okay, we'll stop tooting our horn now.

I still don’t get it. What is DreamDevs exactly?

Our copywriter is a bit hurt, but let’s go over it again. Dreamdevs is Moniepoint’s graduate training program that helps recent computer science and engineering graduates get real-world experience. Selected participants will get access to a bootcamp training, and the top performers from this training could intern with Moniepoint.

Do I need to have a computer science background to apply?

Yes. This programme is focused on helping people with engineering or computer science backgrounds gain real-world experience.

Do I need to pay to get into this programme?

No, you do not. Access to this programme is entirely free. All we need is your willingness to learn, grit, and an open mind.

How much experience do I need to get in?

Five years minimum. Just kidding. This is a beginner programme, and the only experience you need is theoretical knowledge from school.

Will I really get to work with Moniepoint after this?

You could! The top performers from the training programme will intern with the team and possibly get hired full-time. We think that could be you, and we’re cheering.

I just applied. How will I know if I’m selected?

You’ll receive consistent updates via email, and we’ll also publish winners from each stage across our social media platforms. Follow us on @moniepoint to stay updated!

Dreamdevs doesn’t seem right for me, but I’d still like to work with Moniepoint.

We’d like to work with you, too! Head over to our careers page www.moniepoint.com/careers to find a role that better suits you.

Is the boot camp physical or virtual?

The boot camp will be held physically in Lagos. While you can apply even if you don’t live there, you will need to be physically available if you are selected.
